Preview policy. Operator/contact details and final advertising disclosures will be completed before public launch.

Accounts and browser storage

YOTOTOMO does not currently require an account. The site uses browser storage to remember settings and useful tool state, such as theme, language, selected weather location and other local tool preferences. You can remove this data through your browser's site-data controls.

Location

YOTOTOMO does not request device location automatically. Location access is requested only after you choose the current-location control, and the browser controls the permission prompt.

When permission is granted, your browser sends the coordinates directly to BigDataCloud to obtain a locality name. Weather and location-search requests are sent to YOTOTOMO's Cloudflare Worker endpoint, which forwards the minimum request data needed by Open-Meteo. BigDataCloud states that its free client-side service observes the requesting IP address together with the coordinates and uses anonymized aggregate signals to improve its geolocation data. Open-Meteo states that its API may keep troubleshooting or usage logs containing information such as IP addresses, request URLs and geographical coordinates for up to 90 days.

Search and weather requests

Location-search text is sent first to YOTOTOMO's same-origin geocoding endpoint and then forwarded to Open-Meteo's geocoding service. Weather requests similarly pass through YOTOTOMO's Weather endpoint and contain the selected coordinates and time-zone information needed to return the forecast. YOTOTOMO's application code does not intentionally write these proxy request parameters to its own database.

Sharing

When you intentionally use a share function, the shared URL may contain state needed to reproduce what you are sharing. For example, a Weather share can contain location coordinates and a locality label, and other tools can include puzzle or calculation state. The browser, recipient and any platform you choose to share through may receive that URL.

To create a rich social preview for a shared tool state, YOTOTOMO may send the share URL, selected language, share title and share text to its Cloudflare Worker, store the rendering information and generated preview image in Cloudflare R2, and reuse the generated image for that shared link. The stored preview can reflect information you chose to share, such as a location or calculator labels and values. Do not include sensitive information in a shared state that you do not want the recipient, sharing platform or YOTOTOMO's hosting infrastructure to receive.

Hosting

The preview is delivered through Cloudflare Workers. Site requests, including the same-origin Weather and geocoding proxy requests described above, pass through Cloudflare infrastructure and may be processed under Cloudflare's own privacy and security practices. Share-preview images and their rendering data may also be stored in Cloudflare R2 as described above.

Advertising

Live advertising tags are not enabled on this preview. Before Google advertising is enabled, this policy will disclose the use of advertising cookies and related identifiers as required by Google. Where Google's consent rules apply, an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform will be configured before ad requests are served.

Google requires publishers using its advertising services to disclose data collection, sharing and technologies such as cookies, and requires a certified CMP for relevant ad serving in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

Contact

Operator and privacy-contact details have not yet been published on this pre-launch preview. They must be added before public indexing and monetization are enabled.
