What YOTOTOMO is
YOTOTOMO is a family of small web tools designed to be quiet, precise and comfortable to use repeatedly. The current family includes Weather, Sudoku, Timer and Calculator.
Design approach
The interface puts the task before decoration. Important information should be understandable quickly, controls should stay predictable, and missing information should remain visibly missing rather than being invented for appearance.
How the tools work
Weather uses forecast data from Open-Meteo. When you choose current location, the browser asks for location permission and YOTOTOMO uses BigDataCloud to turn the current coordinates into a locality name. Sudoku puzzles are generated deterministically in the browser. Timer and Calculator run in the browser and can share useful state through a URL where supported.

YOTOTOMOについて
YOTOTOMOは、静かで、精密で、繰り返し使っても邪魔にならない小さなWebツールの集合です。現在は Weather、Sudoku、Timer、Calculator を提供しています。
設計の考え方
装飾より目的を優先します。重要な情報は短時間で理解でき、操作は予測しやすく、分からない情報を見栄えのために補完しないことを基本にしています。
各ツールの仕組み
WeatherはOpen-Meteoの予報データを利用しています。「現在地を使う」を選んだ場合のみブラウザが位置情報の許可を求め、現在の座標を地域名へ変換するためにBigDataCloudを利用します。Sudokuはブラウザ内で決定論的に問題を生成します。TimerとCalculatorもブラウザ内で動作し、対応する状態は必要に応じてURLで共有できます。
