Weather, Now, Sudoku, Timer and Calculator are designed to be quick to understand, predictable to operate and useful without an account.
NOW uses aggregated trending-search data from Google Trends.
SELECT
YOTOTOMO SELECT looks at materials, construction, function and ease of use rather than appearance alone. The shop is organized around OBJECTS and COFFEE.
Approach
For software, missing information stays visibly missing instead of being invented for appearance. For physical products, selection is based on what the material, construction and function actually contribute.
